Accessibility
Last updated: October 8, 2025
The Canadian Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) is committed to making our digital spaces accessible and inclusive for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that all users should be able to access our website and online services with ease, and we are continually working to enhance the user experience for all.
Our Standards and Compliance
Our website is designed and maintained in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These internationally recognized standards provide a framework for ensuring that web content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with diverse abilities.
Our Ongoing Efforts
To support and improve digital accessibility, CCBA:
- Integrates accessibility considerations into all stages of website design and development
- Regularly reviews site content, navigation, and functionality to identify and remove accessibility barriers
- Works to ensure that all new content meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards
- Encourages feedback from users to help us continuously improve accessibility
Known Limitations and Areas for Improvement
While we strive for full compliance, we recognize that some areas of our digital environment may not yet meet all accessibility standards. These include:
- GrowthZone-generated content: Portions of our website that are powered by GrowthZone, including the supplier directory, member map, job postings, and member marketplace, are created through a third-party platform. Some of these pages may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements. We continue to work with GrowthZone to identify improvements and advocate for enhanced accessibility features.
- PDF documents and resources: Some downloadable PDF files may not yet be fully accessible to screen readers or other assistive technologies. We are actively updating these materials and can provide accessible alternatives upon request.
We are committed to ongoing improvements and appreciate your patience as we continue this work.
